Data from Other Data Source, Results column Type incorrect

If you create a Data from Other Data Source, then edit it, go to the Results, add a numeric Column, and leave the Aggregate Function [No], it creates a new column, but the Type is always String ... even if the selected column is a number. Instead it should use the datatype of the selected column (when there is no Aggregate Function chosen).

There several difficulties with implementation this feature. Please, edit column and set the needed type.

Yes, but then the next time I edit the Data source, it turns the types back to String. This is very error prone
