SLViewer - strange search result behavior (V2011.3 Ultimate)

Post by dstoermer »

Hi at all,
we use quite well the Stimulsoft SLViewer for our current project.
We migrated last week the Stimulsoft Version from 2011.2 to 2011.3, many issues has been solved, but since we updated the version we have a strange behavior, when we search a report in the preview mode.
The frame which indicates, that the search term has been found in the report isn't at the right coordinates and position.
We noticed that the frame is getting worse if the the search term is found on the bottom part of the page, it is quite okay if the search term is found on the top part of the page but it fits not perfectly.
See this attached screenshot for an example:

We have noticed this behavior in reports, too if we use a tree-navigation inside the report, see the attached screenshot for an example:

We use Internet Explorer 9 for debugging at the moment, and the property of the report is set to DIN A4.

In the last version we did not recognize this search behavior in the report preview, it need to be new in the 2011.3 version.

We need to use this version because a lot of other SLViewer issues has been resolved, which are very important for our project.
Next week there is a very important meeting with our customer and we want to show the report part of our project, we hope that you have a hint for us, how we can solve this search condition issue very soon and quickly.

I wish you a nice day
kind regards
Daniel

Hello.

Sorry, we introduced a new algorithm for the exact location of the components on the page right before our release and didn't have enough time to check everything. We fixed it now and the fix will be available in our next prerelease build next week.
Now you can check it here http://websl.stimulsoft.com/

Thank you.
