Use Local Setting seems stuck

I recently updated to 2012.1.1215 from 2012.03.07

Any report that i have gone back and made changes too since the update seems to have the "Use Local Setting" stuck to TRUE on my Currency text formatted fields.
I have always set that option to false and set how I wanted all my Currency to look manually.

Most of the setting are the same but it is leaving the "Group Separator" off.

I am doing this is a CrossTab. I set one of the fields Text Format to "Currency" then set the properties I want.
When I go to Preview the report it is not using my Properties I set.
So when I go back to Page view I go back to the Text Format for that text field and magically "Use Local Setting" is set to true.

This is only happening on reports that I open with the latest version mentioned above.

We have fixed this error. Updates will be available in release 2012.1 today or tomorrow.
