Find Text functionality is wierd

I am trying to use the Find Text functionality in a JS Viewer. If I enter a text which I know exists in the report but is not on the current page being displayed then there is no indication that the Viewer has found the text. I would have expected it to go to the relevant page and highlight the text.

Of course if the text is on the current page being displayed then the report moves to show that text item.

Is this how it should function? Or am I doing something wrong?
