Windows user – Issue opening .mrt files with Stimulsoft after update to v3.4
After updating Stimulsoft, I can no longer open .mrt files by double-clicking them. The files do not default to Stimulsoft.
I can still open and edit .mrt files from within the Stimulsoft Designer itself by launching the app first and using File > Open. However, when I try to set Stimulsoft as the default program via Open with > Choose another app on this PC, the Designer appears in the list with a generic app icon (instead of the Stimulsoft icon). Selecting it does not fix the problem, as the open with menu is just shown again without Stimulsoft actually being opened.
This issue only occurs on my main Windows user account. On my Admin account, .mrt files open with Stimulsoft as expected (though I see a “device limit reached” message when running there, which is fine since I don’t use that profile for work — just mentioning it for context).
Has anyone encountered this before, and is there a known solution?

We haven't encountered such problems.
Most likely, the issue is with the system itself, with the system settings, not the designer.
