Multiple Initialization

Hi

I have master detail report with 2 datasources without a relation. I added a filter to the detail band but the details filter effects the master data also, they both are invisible. I need a way to only make the details invisible on some conditions.
I saw MultipleInitialization = true for a similar problem in the forum but I cant locate the setting. How can I achieve this without "data relations"?

There is also a "Print if detail empty" setting for the Master band. Do I need MultipleInitialization property? What is the correct way to achieve visible masters when thay have no details or no visible details due to a filter?
