During the validation of the Stimulsoft 2026.2.3 library, a divergent behavior related to the functionality of dependent variables in reports was identified.
When configuring and executing variables with dependencies between them, the system fails to properly load and/or update the dependent values, as demonstrated in the attached video. The observed behavior prevents the correct propagation of filters and compromises the use of this functionality.
Comparative tests were performed across different versions of the Stimulsoft library, confirming that the issue occurs in version 2026.2.3.
Validation environments used:
Environment with the new Stimulsoft library (issue reproduced)
Version: Stimulsoft LIB 2026.2.3
URL: https://devsoul.mv.com.br/report-designer/designer/1873
Environment with the previous library (expected behavior)
Version: Stimulsoft LIB 2025.x
URL: https://qareleaseerp.mv.com.br/report-d ... signer/433
Expected Result:
Dependent variables should maintain the same behavior as in previous versions of the library, correctly loading and updating values based on the configured dependency.
Actual Result:
In version 2026.2.3, dependent variables do not execute the expected workflow, causing a bug in the application.
