Export to PDF Error???

Hai,
In My Report, i used Times New Roman font with the size of 8 for family_description field. below that family_description field i placed static text with the same font and size. The Preview display the family_description field value and static field without any spaces.that is, there is no space between family_description field and static text. after exporting that preview into PDF file there is a space between family_description field and static text. that is, the preview window content and PDF files are not identical. How to fix this problem???
