Minimal lines in sub-report

Post by jmiller »

I am trying to create a sub-report using a databand with a mininum number of lines (4). It also has a footer which contains a sum of one of the columns in the data band. I could not find a way to do this. I even tried to "trick" it by specify 1 column and then specifying 4 in Min Rows in Column. This did not work.

I want the sub-report area to appear consistently on the page regardless if there are 0-4 records in the sub-report data.

I think this is my first time needing to send files. How do I do this? I have a sample PDF output, the mrt, an xsd, and xml data.

The output pdf you provided is what I am looking for! I won't be able to download the prerelease until the end of the month, but I do look forward to using it. Thanks for your help!
